Job Title: “ Our Community, Our History” Project Officer

Hours: 20 hours per week

Remuneration: £19,400 pa (pro rata £10,346pa)

Description of Job:

Balsall Heath Local History Society is seeking to appoint an experienced and creative person with excellent organisational skills. This is an exciting opportunity to develop our innovative programme based on the local history of Balsall Heath since 1945 and funded through a Heritage Lottery grant to October, 2011. The work will include oral history, outreach work with schools and the community, events and exhibitions, drama, supporting volunteers and digitising material for putting on the internet. Proven experience of organising and managing projects, activities and events is essential.
